Head-mounted display concept currently under development within the grey matter of the poster. This is an initial attempt to combine several different elements for an HMD for a cell phone, namely:
1) Monocular Information Display,
2) Stereophonic Audio Headphones (earbuds) - not shown,
3) Stereophonic Audio Microphones - small purple dots above the display,
4) Stereoscopic Cameras - located outboard of each screen in upper corner,
5) AUX Signal Inputs from a variety of sources via hardwire or BlueTooth,
6) Tally Light - red dot, centrally located between the two displays
7) BlueTooth enabled - blue protuberance below the camera on each side. One side transmits signal to cellphone, the other side receives a signal from a finger-mounted camera ring.

Additional visuals and or animations will be available soon.

My 123 Turns 2!

My low mileage ‘82 Mercedes wagon turned 2(00,000) miles over the weekend. Now its finally considered broken in, but won’t be really in its groove until it gets another 50K miles on the clock.

Took this with my old cellphone to document the event.

Reflections on the day…

Another wasted day diddling with the phone. I did get an image up here today, but I don’t know if it was from my old phone, or this new one. I’ll try again tomorrow and take copious notes so I can remember.

I find it extremely aggravating to squander hours upon hours integrating technologies with which I have little in common. Are there any techies out there who enjoy this type of challenging opportunity?

I did record the audio snippet for Dan as requested by Dean during class. Email me and I’ll get it off to you Dan. Hey, am I being set up or here, or what?

Over and out.
